Women’s Volleyball: Perfect in the GLVC
The Rockhurst women’s volleyball team has been nearly unstoppable this season. The Hawks sit at 16-7 overall and 7-0 in GLVC play, showcasing power, chemistry, and consistency throughout the fall.
With six matches remaining before the GLVC Tournament, the focus remains on maintaining momentum and sharpening rhythm as postseason play approaches. Their undefeated conference record has them in prime position for a top seed, and fans can expect a thrilling finish as the Hawks look to bring home another GLVC championship.
Key contributors include Sarah Pyle, who leads the team in kills and service aces, Molly Trachta in assists, Katie Vargo in digs and Delaney Hope in blocks. A lineup that has proven to be a powerhouse combination on both ends of the court.
Men’s Soccer: Chasing the Conference Crown
Rockhurst leads the GLVC with a 9-1-2 conference record and 10-3-2 overall, powered by a disciplined defense and a balanced attack.
This weekend will be pivotal as Rockhurst faces Missouri S&T on Friday and Lincoln on Sunday at home, with Lincoln sitting just behind in the standings. These matches will likely decide the GLVC regular-season championship, giving the Hawks a chance to officially claim the conference crown before heading into tournament play.
Immanuel Wayoro leads the offense with 16 points (7 goals, 2 assists), while Noah Brende anchors the back line.
Women’s Soccer: Fighting for a Tournament Spot
Rockhurst sits at 7-5-3 overall and 6-4-2 in GLVC play, currently in sixth place, right on the edge of postseason qualification.
Friday’s match against Missouri S&T is a must-win to officially secure a GLVC Tournament spot. The team will then play their final home game on Sunday against Lincoln.
Anna Lantz leads the team with 30 points (13 goals, 4 assists), while Quinn Conroy anchors the defense.
Men’s Cross Country: Champions Early, Competitive Late
The Hawks earned first-place team finishes at both the Baker Wildcat XC Classic (8K) and the Brian Simpson Invite in Columbia, Missouri.
At the Simpson invite, Sam Rosenberg won the individual title (26:08.99) with Max Hertenstein placing second (26:18.60).
At the GLVC Championships, Rockhurst finished seventh overall with 200 points. Rosenberg once again led the way in 26th place (25:19.37), with Hertenstein close behind in 28th (25:20.50).
Women’s Golf: Consistency on the Course
The women’s golf team posted steady performances this fall, highlighted by a fourth-place finish at the KC Cup, led by Arantza Zepeda (78-77–155) and Audrey Smith (80-77–157).
Rockhurst then placed ninth at the Bearcat Dual Gender Tournament, where Zepeda tied for 22nd (85-76-81–242) and Sarah Hinkamp finished 44th (86-83-86–255).
Men’s Golf: Finishing Strong with Tournament Wins
The Rockhurst men’s golf team put together a standout fall season highlighted by a first-place finish at the Midwest/Central Regional Tournament. Ashton Vinton led the way with a third-place finish (69-72-72–214), while Mike Wolski placed fifth (73-73-70–216).
The Hawks closed out the fall at the Bearcat Dual Gender Tournament, where they finished third overall, led by Kingston Soloman who placed fifth (77-71-74—222) and Adam Challoner tied for sixth (72-73-78—223).
