Over 15,000 adoring fans packed the Sprint Center on Saturday, March 21st to witness Maroon 5 put on a show of a lifetime for a sold out audience. From the moment Adam Levine made his theatrical and grand entrance in a puff of green smoke, the enthusiastic crowd was hooked. Adam and the boys showed the appreciative crowd, why they have been one of the most popular and successful bands since their debut in 2002.

Throughout the 90 minute set, the band performed songs from their 5th and latest album “V” as well as putting new and fresh spins on all of their most popular hits. When a band has as many recognizable hits as they do, it is hard to fit every song in, but they were able to perform 17 full songs. The mixture between new and old songs flowed together seamlessly. It is not often that you attend a concert where most of the audience knows and sings along to 95 percent of the songs.

To say that Adam Levine is a showman would be a huge understatement. From the moment his feet hit the stage, he hardly stopped to take a breather. The combination of his sex appeal (he wasn’t named People’s Sexist Man Alive for nothing), killer falsetto, awesome electric guitar playing, swagger, personality and high energy gave the fans exactly what they wanted.

The concert set and lighting was phenomenal.  Strobe lights added to the upbeat party atmosphere of the concert. Keeping with the theme of “V”, the stage broke off into a long runway that spanned the length of almost the entire arena floor leading to a giant “V” where Adam sang several songs. From the tender and chill, “She Will Be Loved” to their signature dance hit, “Moves Like Jagger” to their latest fun and flirty single “Sugar”, there is no way that anyone in the audience went home unhappy. Like fine wine, Maroon 5 keeps getting better and better with time. This was not just a concert, it was an experience that left audience fully satisfied and excited for the next time Adam and the boys rock out the Sprint Center.
